Wow, what a busy week we have had and no wifi! We arrived in Kincardine on Thursday morning, parked our Airstream in a pull thru spot in the back, and the fun of moving into our new digs began (we have bought a Park Model trailer for our summers here in Kincardine). The new “cottage” is completely furnished except for a bed so our first errand on Thursday was to go and buy a bed and arrange delivery, which they could do Saturday morning.

Our New "Cottage"

The couple we bought this from are friends and had left all their shed stuff in the shed for the winter and we had stored all our “clean” shed stuff in the bedroom so they arrived on Friday morning to close the sale and move their stuff out of the shed so we could move our stuff out of the bedroom and start moving in; and guess what we have been doing for the last few days!! I would never have believed how much STUFF we had in the Airstream, we have almost completely unloaded it and will sort through over the summer and hopefully the next time we go “on the road” we will be much lighter.

Yesterday we had appointments in Kitchener/Waterloo so it was nice to take a day off from organizing the new place. Today was another busy day but I did manage to spend a bit of time getting hooked back up to the internet and answer some e-mails. All of the blogs I read are over a week behind so it will take time to catch up on what is happening with those folks.

As always we thoroughly enjoyed our winter in the south and saw a lot of nice places on the way home. We are very thankful we didn’t run into any of the terrible storms that have been hitting the U.S. and that we had a good, safe trip home. It is kind of nice to think about sitting still for a bit but I know after a couple of months hitch-itch will start again!!

This will be my last posting until we go out again, hopefully in mid to late August we will head out for a few weeks, where is still up in the air, we will have to see what the cost of diesel is by then.

And so ends many great gifts of days and we look forward to the mystery of tomorrow, and the day after, and the day after and so on.

Glad to hear you're home safely. I agree with the folks above, don't stop blogging just because you're in one place. Let us know how you're doing.

I like your park model. What kind is it. I love looking at floor plans.
