Today was another bright, sunny day but there was a very fierce, cold wind blowing all day and that made it very cool.

We left Hill City about 8:30 a.m. and stopped in Rapid City at the Flying J for breakfast – very good. We had a good drive but stopped often for about 15 minutes at a time just to let the differential cool down. That made for a slow day and we didn’t get as far as intended – originally I had anticipated getting to Hardin, MT but instead we stopped for the night at Sheridan Wyoming. Fortunately all seems well with the differential, hope it continues.

The drive was pretty but nothing spectacular, here are some pictures of today's landscape.

We are at Peter D’s RV Park in Sheridan and it is a real nice little park with long, level pull through sites and very clean washrooms and laundry, free Wi-Fi and cable TV – all for $25. We are parked right across from the laundry which was real handy as I really needed to get a couple of loads done – one more job out of the way for a bit. The Wi-Fi is really good, I was finally able to get my iPod synced with the computer so am glad to have that done.

When I talked to Kel tonight and told her where we were she said her sister-in-law had come here to take her Dental Hygienist course – that was about 20 years ago so wonder if it has changed much over the years.

It will be a quiet evening and early to bed. And so ends another great gift of a day and we look forward to another nice day tomorrow.
